Pages: 353From the Publisher: Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.
As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.
In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.
First Thoughts: How on earth am I going to wait for the next book, If I Should Die?!? How? *clutches heart* I love this series!
The Story: Kate and Vincent solidify their love for each other, and even though it won’t be easy, they are committed to make it work, as long as it can. The Revenants still fight to keep the Numa at bay, but the danger in this installment is even more intense because Kate is now a target as well. Oh yes, bring it!!
Second Book Syndrome? Nope, thank goodness! It happens so often to find a filler middle book, but not the case here. Thank you, Ms. Plum! The plot moved ahead at the perfect pace, and the story built up perfectly layer by layer. It was so smooth I didn’t even realize that the plot had grown in complexity at the end! Well done!

The chemistry is there too, but both Kate and Vincent agree to take things slowly, in order to savor every moment. However, I know it’s there and I can’t wait for more. Image may be NSFW.

Twists and Turns: YES YES YES!! *fist pump* I LOVE when there’s a double crossing and I don’t see it coming. I had an idea there was a traitor, but I still didn’t see this exactly and it was awesome. I love when I predict wrong and get surprised. Fantastic!
The Ending: OMG OMG OMG. Somebody hold me. That is all. *sobs and uses the entire box of tissues*
The Title and Cover: Sometimes I talk about these things when they are SO PERFECT. The title is exactly right, and I loved seeing it in context in the story quite a few times. Loved it. The cover, just gorgeous, and I could stare at it all day. Bravo on both!
Rec it? A million times YES.
